I am a small Piedmontese producer. My 15-acre vineyards are located in the Rombone (920-1,080 ft. a.s.l.) in the commune of Treiso at the doors of Alba, in the DOCG. wine zone of Barbaresco. “Cascina Rombone” (cascina means farm), originally, from 1921 until 1962, was a 50 acre property. When Carlo Nada was succeeded by his four children, being one of them my father Fiorenzo, it was split. Beside Nebbiolo grape, I grow Dolcetto and Barbera. One last word about our motto; we believe in tradition, and our motto, a poetic one, refers to the believe that wine making is related to the moon phases and to rituals many centuries old. "The wine is tinted by the moon. One day after the other."
