The
Tessari family has been growing grapes at La
Cappuccina for over a century, starting in 1890.
The site of an ancient chapel of Franciscan
friars, these 70 vineyard acres surround the
family villa located at Costalunga di Monteforte
d'Alpone in the Soave D.O.C. (Denomination Of
Controlled origin) production zone near Verona.
Commitment to making Soave from the highest
quality grapes possible begins with the patriarch,
Lorenzo, who has cultivated grapes his entire
life. Found selectivity in the vineyard and
in the cellar are the working principles in
the creating and shaping of high level wines.
