The
Zuccato familys canned vegetable business
originated in 1868 in Caltrano, Italy, a village
in the province of Vicenza. At this original
shop, sauerkraut production began in 1898 and
sold by typical wooden tubs. The founders
business spirit and dedication for its sauerkraut
eventually led to a large selection of canned
goods. Always
wanting to exceed customers requirements
concerning quality systems, the company strived
for and achieved the prestigious Italian Certification
of Company Quality Systems certificate (C.S.Q.A.)
in July 6, 1995. This international acknowledgment
of quality, in accordance with the International
Standard Organization (I.S.O. 9002 standard),
ensures consumers of their commitment to excellence.
