Cantine Sant’Agata has been a family-run operation since its founding
in 1916 by Stefano Cavallero, grandfather to the present proprietors,
Franco and Claudio. The 30 acre estate is located on the hills of Scurzolengo in the region of Piedmont and grows Ruche', Grignolino, Barbera, Cortese, Chardonnay, and Nebbiolo grapes to produce about 150,000 bottles of wine per year.

Sant'Agata Baby Barbera d'Asti DOC 2005

100% Barbera

A wine with bright cherry fruit. Made with no oak, this Barbera is beautifully balanced, as pure an example of this variety as you can find (hence the name, “Baby”).

Sant'Agata Altea Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOC 2004

100% Barbera

A dazzling bouquet of cherries and chocolate intertwined with honey and smoke with vibrantly rich flavors and hints of spice.

'Na Vota Ruche’ di Castagnole Monferrato DOC 2005

100% Ruche’

Hints of violet, hay, and candied fruit on the nose, and a uniquely spicy and peppery quality in its taste.  The body warm to the palate, Ruche’ is an exceptionally well balanced wine, of inviting softness and a long finish.

Sant'Agata il Cavaliere Ruche’ di Castagnole Monferrato DOC

100% Ruche’

Sant'Agata ProNobis Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato DOC 2005

100% Ruche’

The ruby Ruche' Pro Nobis possesses garnet lights and lovely notes of rhubarb sweets. The palate reveals this to be a mouthfilling, complex wine, and ends in a long finish.
